On Thursday night, the Arizona Coyotes will try to win their third consecutive road game when they visit the Calgary Flames. The Coyotes were able to win three out of their five games against the Flames last season.

The Coyotes gave up two late goals to the Dallas Stars on Tuesday and ended up losing 4-3 on home ice. Their power play struggled in that loss, going 0-for-6 on their chances with the extra man.

Through 15 games, the Coyotes are near the bottom of the league in both goals per game (2.4) and goals against per game (3.3). Left wing leads the team in goals with six while defenseman Keith Yandle has a team-high 10 assists. Netminder Mike Smith is now 4-8-0 with a 3.29 GAA and an .895 save percentage.

On Monday, the Flames couldn't find the back of the net after the first period in their game against the Carolina Hurricanes and ended up losing 4-1 on the road. They did score on their only power play opportunity and ended up being outshot 31-23.

The Flames are in the top 10 in the league in scoring with 2.9 goals per game. Defenseman Mark Giordano has had a very good start to the season by scoring five goals and providing 14 assists in his team's first 17 games. Goaltender Jonas Hiller is 7-4-1 on the year with a solid .925 save percentage and a 2.24 GAA.
