On Sunday afternoon, the Anaheim Ducks be go on the road to face the Winnipeg Jets, who will be playing in the final game of their three-game homestand. Last season, the Ducks were able to win two out their three games against the Jets.

The Ducks won their third game in a row on Friday night when they edged the Minnesota Wild 5-4 on the road. Center Ryan Kesler was their top performer in that game by scoring two of their goals and providing one assist.

The Ducks have their winning record despite only averaging 0.2 goals per game more than their opponents. Center Ryan Getzlaf has been one of their more consistent players by notching eight goals and a team-high 18 assists through 27 games. Goalie Frederik Andersen has a 13-4-4 record so far this year with a 2.50 GAA and a .912 save percentage.

On Friday, the Jets played one of their best offensive games of the year by defeating the Colorado Avalanche 6-2 at home. They outshot the Avs 37-22 in that win while also outhitting them 26-19.

The Jets have had one of the best defenses in the NHL through their first 27 games by only giving up 2.1 goals per game. Netminder Ondrej Pavelec has won nine of his 21 games and currently has a 2.22 GAA with a .919 save percentage.
