On Saturday night, the Anaheim Ducks will be going up against the Winnipeg Jets, who have won two of their last three home games.

Last Sunday, the Ducks and the Jets played each other for the first time this season, with the Ducks picking up a 4-3 overtime win in Winnipeg. The Jets outshot the Ducks 30-25 in that game, but they also allowed them to score on two of their six power play chances.

Ducks right wing Corey Perry has five goals and three assists in his eight games against the Jets, while center Ryan Kesler has notched three goals and four assists in his 10 games against them. Goalie Frederik Andersen has gone 2-0-0 against Winnipeg in his career with a .909 save percentage and a 2.93 GAA.

On Thursday, the Jets allowed the Colorado Avalanche to come back in the third period and then were defeated 4-3 in the shootout. Winnipeg lost despite going 2-for-4 on the power play and outshooting the Avs 33-26.

The Jets have struggled on offense so far this year, averaging just 2.3 goals per game against their opponents. Left wing Andrew Ladd has had a pretty good start to the season by notching 11 goals and 12 assists in 30 games. Goalie Ondrej Pavelec is now 9-8-4 with one shutout, a .914 save percentage and a 2.32 GAA.
