On Thursday night, two teams out of the Western Conference will get together at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis. The Anaheim Ducks and St. Louis Blues will meet for the second time in the month of October. The Ducks come into the game with a 7-2-0 record, good enough for 14 points. Brian Elliott has been the top goaltender for St. Louis, allowing just over 2 goals per game, but Jake Allen has also been between the pipes. St. Louis is coming off a 52-23-7 season of a year ago.

The Anaheim Ducks have been one of the hottest teams in the NHL to start the season. The Ducks rank 7th in the league in goals allowed, with just 2.1 per game. The offense for Anaheim has been excellent. They are led by Corey Perry with 9 goals and 3 assists. The Ducks also had an excellent regular season a season ago; winning 54 games and finishing with 116 points.
