Friday night, the Anaheim Ducks will make a stop at the Canadian Tire Centre as they face the Ottawa Senators.

The Anaheim Ducks will take on the Senators after facing the Montreal Canadiens at the Bell Centre on Thursday night.   Friday’s game will be the last stop on a 5 game Canadian road trip for the Ducks that had them making stops in Edmonton, Winnipeg and Toronto.  The Ducks have faced little opposition in recent weeks with possible fatigue being the only thing to stop them.  The quick turnaround between games on Thursday and Friday should slow them down a little bit. 

The Ottawa Senators ended a three game road trip on a high note as they beat the New Jersey Devils 2 – 0 on Wednesday night.   Ottawa got the results they needed on both ends of the ice as they avenged their earlier loss to the Devils.  The Senators took control early as Kyle Turris put them up 1 -0 on his power play goal just minutes into the game.  The Ottawa defense clamped down and held that lead the rest of the 1st and all of the 2nd. As the game ended, Turris got his 2nd goal of the night to seal the win.  Ottawa was outshot 34 – 16 by the Devils but goalie Craig Anderson brushed aside all of those shots.  Ottawa went 1 for 2 on the power play and the penalty killing unit shut out the Devils on their 5 power plays.  It will take the same effort from Ottawa to get past Anaheim on Friday.
