The Anaheim Ducks will try to pick up their second win in three games on Monday afternoon when they face the Buffalo Sabres. The Ducks were able to sweep the Sabres last year in their two-game season series.

The Ducks came back in the third period in their game against the Detroit Red Wings on Sunday to pull off a 3-2 win. Center Ryan Getzlaf scored the winner with less than 25 seconds left in the game and finished with two goals.

Anaheim now has a 33.3 power play percentage and they have killed off 83.3 percent of the power plays they have faced. Right wing Corey Perry is the Ducks' leader in goals with three and he is tied for the team lead with four points. In netminder Frederik Andersen's one start this year, he has a win and a .931 save percentage.

On Saturday, Buffalo gave up four third-period goals to the Chicago Blackhawks and ended up losing 6-2. They were outshot 47-23 in that loss and they were goalless in their four chances on the power play.

The Sabres have scored 1.5 goals per game through two games while giving up 4.5 goals per game. Center Zemgus Girgensons leads the team in goals with two, while right wing Drew Stafford is the team leader in assists with two. Goaltender Jhonas Enroth is now 0-2-0 with an .897 save percentage and a 4.50 GAA.
