The Anaheim Ducks will be going on the road on Saturday night to take on the Arizona Coyotes in a game that will feature two of the worst penalty kills in the league. The Ducks defeated the Coyotes 2-1 at home in their first meeting this season.

The Ducks struck late in the third period of their game against the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday night, then went on to win 3-2 in overtime. They were 0-for-3 on the power play in that game, but they were able to put 32 of their shots on goal.

The Ducks have been able to score 2.8 goals per game this year, but they have also given up 2.6 goals per game. Center Ryan Getzlaf has been their main offensive threat this season by scoring 12 goals and providing a team-high 27 assists to his teammates. Netminder Frederik Andersen is now 19-5-4 with one shutout a .914 save percentage.

On Tuesday night, the Coyotes snapped their two-game losing skid by blowing out the Edmonton Oilers 5-1 on the road. Their penalty kill was solid in that win, holding the Oilers scoreless on their six opportunities with the extra man.

The Coyotes currently have one of the worst defenses in the NHL by giving up 3.2 goals per game to opposing offenses. Goalie Mike Smith has struggled this season, going 5-15-2 with a poor 3.48 GAA.
