Monday Night Football NFL Picks and Predictions: Texans at Colts Betting Odds
by Nicholas Tolomeo - 11/1/2010
Houston ended the hex Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts had over them with a resounding 34-24 Week 1 win. Now they will try to end the hex the city of Indianapolis has held over them. The Texans have never won in Indianapolis in nine tries.
Monday Night Football NFL Picks and Predictions: Vikings at Jets Betting Odds
by Nicholas Tolomeo - 10/11/2010
In case Monday Night Football was not a big enough spectacle, this week’s clash brings together the two storylines that made sure there was no real offseason in the NFL. Brett Favre and his summer-long ‘will he or won’t he’ saga and the “Hard Knocks” themselves, New York Jets, clash Monday Night at 8:30 p.m. ET in New Meadowlands Stadium.
Monday Night Football Picks: Patriots at Dolphins Betting Odds and NFL Predictions
by Nicholas Tolomeo - 10/4/2010
Tonight’s matchup looks like a classic AFC East showdown between the Patriots and Dolphins. Both teams enter the game 2-1 and both have approached the games in their own way. The Patriots have tried to outscore teams on their way to a 2-1 start while the Dolphins held two opponents to 10 points each on the way to their 2-1 start.
Monday Night Football NFL Predictions: Packers at Bears Betting Odds and Picks
by Nicholas Tolomeo - 9/27/2010
They usually say throw the record books out the window when these two NFC North rivals meet, but there will no need for that when they meet tonight at 8:30 p.m. ET. Both the Packers and the Bears enter this week’s Monday Night Football showdown 2-0. The Packers 2-0 record comes to the surprise of no one, while the Bears have turned a lot of heads with their start.
Monday Night Football Picks: Vikings at Bears

Another 1-1 outing last week in our Monday Night Football picks as we hit on the Giants giving three points to the Redskins (at a four-star rating) but missed on the under total because the Skins totally rolled over and quit. In fact, Washington coach Jim Zorn probably cost himself any future job in the NFL -- I’m talking even as a coordinator, because clearly he will never be a head coach again -- with that ridiculous fake field goal debacle, but that’s a column for another day.

I just can’t seem to get a 2-0 week on these picks, as last week’s Cardinals-49ers game saw another split – making me 4-4 in these Monday Night Football picks so far. I hit on the ‘under’ last Monday night but whiffed badly on the side. It’s not really that surprising that San Francisco won, but it was surprising how dominant the Niners’ defense was. And it was about time they fed the ball over and over to Frank Gore.

Another split for me last week on the Monday Night Football game, as I hit on the ‘under’ total between Green Bay and Baltimore but missed on the Ravens getting three points – I told you I wasn’t too confident in the side anyways (two stars out of five) but loved the total (four stars). So hopefully you only half listened to me – the confident half. I am now 3-3 through three weeks of these Monday Night Football picks.

Well, last week’s Monday Night Football game between the Pats and Saints, which was highly anticipated as a shootout, turned into a dud with New Orleans dominating. I missed on the Patriots but did hit on the under. That makes me 2-2 through two weeks of making these selections.
Monday Night Football Picks: Patriots at Saints

This year’s Monday Night Football schedule hasn’t been a very memorable one so far. Since Week 6, there has been only one game decided by less than a touchdown, and we were subjected to the gruesome Baltimore-Cleveland matchup a few weeks ago.
Monday Night Football Picks: Titans at Texans
by Matt Severance - 11/21/2009
Three games does not a season make, but the Titans have completely turned it around since Young replaced Kerry Collins as the starting QB. Tennessee has won three straight (by a combined 105-57) and covered in all three. However, they are a 4.5-point underdog on Bookmaker for Monday’s game at Houston.
