This will supposedly be the last week that the Pittsburgh Steelers will be without Pro Bowl running back Le'Veon Bell as he plans to report to the team during the Week 7 bye. There's still talk, though, that the Steelers are listening to trade offers for Bell, who is a pending unrestricted free agent. Pittsburgh likely wants at least a second-round pick for Bell because it should get a third-rounder in 2020 as compensation for him singing elsewhere in free agency.

A nice sweep for us last Monday night, although it would have been even better had Denver hung on to its 10-point lead over visiting Kansas City. Alas, Patrick Mahomes worked some of his magic and the Chiefs remained the AFC's lone unbeaten with a 27-23 comeback win. We recommended Denver +5.5 as well as "under" the total of 56 points - perhaps the Broncos did at least give the league a template to slow Mahomes for a while.

It finished 37-34 Texans in OT. Still have yet to go 0-2 on a pick this NFL season, which means I just jinxed myself.

Here's hoping you followed my advice for last Thursday's Vikings-Rams matchup, which was an offensive showcase and an L.A. 38-31 win. I took the Rams at -6.5 on the alternate line, because you simply should never bet a team as a 7-point favorite for push reasons. The total also went way "over", so it was a sweep.
