Now that we are through four weeks, this is usually when we may start to see head coaches and/or coordinators fired. Owners/general managers like to give their coaches at least a month - a quarter of the season - before making any decisions. I believe the New York Jets could be on the verge of making a move on Todd Bowles. Everything was peachy with Gang Green in Week 1 when they slaughtered the Lions in Motown, but now we know that Detroit isn't very good.

Getting a bit tired of all these splits on my NFL picks - although at least I haven't gone 0-2 yet. It was another wash last Monday night as I went against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Tampa because I felt the Steelers were dealing with too many distractions. However, the magic ran out for Ryan Fitzpatrick as his three interceptions ruined Tampa's chance to win, which was our call. We did hit over the total.

An easy sweep of our Sunday picks last week as we recommended the Kansas City Chiefs at -6.5 (alternate line) against the San Francisco 49ers and "over" a huge total, and the Chiefs easily covered and blew past that total. Let's keep it rolling this week with a game that won't approach those 65 combined points scored in Kansas City as we have the Houston Texans visiting the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday in an AFC South matchup.
