2015 New York Giants Opponents and Schedule Highlights
by Tony Sink - 2/12/2015
Let’s take a look at the New York Giants 2015 opponents and schedule highlights. The NFL will release schedule dates and games times later in April, but we do know who the Giants will have to play.
The New York Giants weren't expected to win the NFC East last season, but they certainly weren't expected to going 6-10 with a 2-4 record in their division either. They found a gem in wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., but they also found a lot of holes in their low-rated defense.
Home: Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, San Francisco 49ers, New England Patriots, New York Jets
Away: Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Minnesota Vikings, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins
The Giants don't have a very tough schedule on paper this season, but they will have to clear a few hurdles if they want any chance of making the playoffs. Here are three of the matchups to keep an eye on:
Dallas Cowboys: The Cowboys are now considered the cream of the crop of the NFC East and the Giants will want to regain that moniker. They are 0-4 in the last two seasons against Dallas, though, and they will need to beat them at least once in 2015 to have a chance at taking the division.
Philadelphia Eagles: The Giants used to regularly sweep the Eagles, but they have not been able to win both of their regular season games against them since 2007. Considering how solid the Eagles' offense is and how poor the Giants' defense is, they will be happy with winning one of the two games this season.
Buffalo Bills: The Giants don't have a very tough road schedule outside of their divisional games, and the Bills could be seen as their toughest challenge away from home. Buffalo has an excellent defense and will be looking to pick up their first win against Giants since 2003.
