2015 Denver Broncos Opponents and Schedule Highlights
by Tony Sink - 2/15/2015
In 2014, the Denver Broncos had one of the most well-rounded teams in the NFL, but many see the season as a disappointment since they lost 24-13 to the Indianapolis Colts in the Divisional round of the playoffs. Still, the emergence of one of the top receiving duos in Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders means that just about every defense will hate the idea of facing this team for the foreseeable future.
The Broncos will be going into the 2015 season as one of the top two or three teams from the AFC, but they do have a pretty tough schedule coming up.
Home: Kansas City Chiefs, Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, New England Patriots, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings
Away: Kansas City Chiefs, Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Indianapolis Colts, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions
Here are three of the matchups to keep an eye on:
Indianapolis Colts: The Broncos were able to end their long losing streak against the Colts last season, but the only game fans will remember is that Colts' playoff victory. As always, this will be a matchup to watch because it will have two of the top AFC offenses going head-to-head.
Kansas City Chiefs: The Chiefs have played well in recent years, but the Broncos have absolutely dominated this series since 2012, winning six games in a row. These two teams are expected to battle it out for the top spot in the AFC West, so it is definitely a series to watch.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Surprisingly, the Broncos had a much better defense than the Steelers last year and the Steelers had the better offense. If the same holds true this year, this could be one of the most exciting games of the regular season. It also happens to be one of the more difficult road games on Denver's schedule.
