On Sunday afternoon, the Washington Redskins (3-7) will go on the road to face the San Francisco 49ers (6-4), who have won their last two games. Last season, the 49ers were able to easily beat the Redskins 27-6 in Washington.

The Redskins played poorly on both sides of the ball on Sunday afternoon when they were upset 27-7 by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on their home field. They had three turnovers in that loss and were only able to gain 167 yards through the air.

So far this year, the Redskins have been able to gain plenty of yards on offense, but they are only averaging 20.4 points per game. In his few starts, quarterback Robert Griffin III has 763 passing yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions. Wide receiver DeSean Jackson has been the team's best player by catching 40 passes for 819 yards and four scores.

On Sunday, the 49ers won their second game in a row when they defeated the New York Giants 16-10 on the road. Their defense did a great job in that win by forcing the Giants into committing five turnovers.

The 49ers are only giving up 308.8 total yards per game to their opponents, which is fourth-best in the league right now. Quarterback Colin Kaepernick has 2,359 passing yards through 10 games with 14 touchdowns and five interceptions. Veteran wide receiver Anquan Boldin has caught 56 passes for 688 yards and three scores.
