The Washington Redskins (2-5) will have a hard time starting their first winning streak of the season as they have to visit the red-hot Dallas Cowboys (6-1) on Monday night. The Cowboys were able to beat the Redskins in both of their games against each other last year.

Last Sunday, the Redskins were able to snap their four-game losing streak when they beat the Tennessee Titans 19-17 at home. Their defense was solid in that game, holding the Titans to just 236 total yards.

The Redskins are fifth in the league with 389.4 points per game, but they are just 23rd in scoring with 21.6 points per game. Quarterback Colt McCoy made his first appearance of the season last week and threw for 128 yards with a touchdown and no picks. Wide receiver DeSean Jackson has caught 26 passes this season for 528 yards and three touchdowns.

The Cowboys were able to pick up their sixth win in a row last Sunday when they beat the New York Giants 31-21 at home. They outgained the Giants 423-352 in that win and they were 9-for-14 on their third down opportunities.

Through seven games, the Cowboys have scored 28 points per game while their defense has only given up 21 points per game. Running back DeMarco Murray has a league-leading 913 rushing yards this season and he has scored seven touchdowns. Quarterback Tony Romo has a 104.7 passer rating by throwing for 1,789 yards with 14 touchdowns and six interceptions.
