On Sunday afternoon, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-11) will attempt to snap their three-game losing skid when they go up against the Carolina Panthers (4-8-1). In their first game of the season, the Panthers defeated the Panthers 20-14 on the road.

The Buccaneers lost their third straight game last weekend when they were blown out 34-17 by the Detroit Lions on the road. Their offense turned the ball over three times in that loss while gaining just 233 total yards against the Lions' defense.

Through 13 games, the Bucs have gained just 307.4 total yards per game and have only scored 18.2 points per game. Wide receiver Mike Evans has caught 57 passes this season for a team-high 935 yards and 10 touchdowns. Quarterback Josh McCown has 1,790 passing yards this year with nine touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

The Panthers played one of their most complete games of the season last Sunday when they easily defeated the New Orleans Saints 41-10 on the road. They didn't turn the ball over in that win and ended up with 497 offensive yards.

So far this season, the Panthers have struggled to move the ball through the air, averaging just 225.8 passing yards per game against opposing defenses. Quarterback Cam Newton has a low 81.8 passer rating on the season by throwing for 2,812 yards with 16 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
