In a rematch of last year's Super Bowl, the Seattle Seahawks will visit the Denver Broncos on Thursday night in their first preseason game of the year.
One position battle Seahawk fans will be focused on this preseason is at the right tackle position. Second-year player Michael Bowie took over as the start last year, but second-round pick Justin Britt is expected to get his chance to take over the position if he plays well during the preseason.
Besides Bowie, the Seahawks are hoping that rookie defensive end Cassius Marsh will show them something during the preseason. Seattle likes to rotate their ends, and Marsh could see plenty of playing time in 2014 if he impresses this month.
The Denver Broncos already know who most of their starters will be this season, but one spot that still needs to be claimed is the right tackle position. Chris Clark is one option, but he struggled at left tackle last year. Winston Justice, who barely played for the Broncos last year, is expected to get his shot to steal the job from Clark.
First-rounder Bradley Roby may not have been the best cornerback in college football last year, but he has done so well for the Broncos this offseason that he could get a lot of snaps in 2014. That's especially true if he plays well during the preseason.
