The Seattle Seahawks (3-3) will take their impressive rushing attack on the road when they face the Carolina Panthers (3-3-1) on Sunday afternoon. Seattle is third in the NFC West right now while the Panthers are first in the weak NFC South.

On Sunday, the Seahawks lost their second consecutive game when they were upset by the St. Louis Rams 28-26 on the road. Seattle lost despite not turning the ball over and only giving up 272 total yards in the game.

The Seahawks are second in the league with 153.3 rushing yards per game, but they are only throwing for 203.7 yards per game. Quarterback Russell Wilson has a 101.9 passer rating on the year by completing 65.7 percent of his passes for 1,291 yards and 10 touchdowns. Running back Marshawn Lynch has rushed for 420 yards and three scores on the season.

The Panthers gave up 21 first-quarter points to the Green Bay Packets on Sunday and ended up losing 38-17. They were just 4-for-12 on third down in that loss and they only gained 108 yards on the ground.

The Panthers' defense has struggled quite a bit this season by giving up 27.9 points per game. Quarterback Cam Newton has thrown for 1,472 yards this season with eight touchdown passes and just three interceptions. Newton's top target has been tight end Greg Olsen, who has 41 receptions for 493 yards and five touchdowns.
