On Sunday afternoon, the San Diego Chargers (4-1) will try to keep their top spot in the AFC West when they take on the Oakland Raiders (0-4). Oakland won their early-season game against the Chargers last year, but lost to them later in the year.

After opening the season with a loss, the Chargers have now won four games in a row after beating the New York Jets 31-0 last Sunday. San Diego rushed for 162 yards in that win while their defense held the Jets to just 151 total yards.

The Chargers are currently second in the NFL against the pass by only giving up 194.8 passing yards per game. Quarterback Philip Rivers has an excellent 116.3 passer rating so far this season after throwing for 1,443 yards and 12 touchdowns in his team's first five games. Tight end Antonio Gates has caught 21 passes this year for 275 yards and five scores.

Raiders remained winless on the season after getting beaten 38-14 by the Miami Dolphins in their last game. They had just 53 rushing yards in that loss and they ended up turning the ball over four times.

Through four games, the Raiders are last in the league in rushing with just 207 yards per game. Quarterback Derek Carr has completed 63.2 percent of his passes this season for 734 yards, four touchdowns and four interceptions. Wide receiver James Jones leads the team with 21 catches, 272 yards and two touchdowns.
