The San Diego Chargers (5-3) will attempt to snap their two-game losing skid on Sunday afternoon when they visit the Miami Dolphins (4-3). The Chargers are in second place in the AFC West while the Dolphins sit in third in the AFC East.

Last Sunday, the Chargers had no answer for the Denver Broncos' offense last Thursday and ended up losing 35-21 on the road. They gave up 425 total yards in that loss while their offense only had 61 rushing yards.

San Diego has been able to score 25.6 points per game this year while only giving up 18.6 points per game. Veteran quarterback Philip Rivers has been very good this season by throwing for 2,213 yards with 20 touchdown passes and just five interceptions. Second-year wide receiver Keenan Allen has caught a team-leading 43 passes for 427 yards and one score.

The Dolphins were able to pick up their second win in a row last Sunday when they beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 27-13 on the road. Miami only had 178 passing yards in that game, but their defense played well and forced three Jacksonville turnovers.

Through seven games, the Dolphins are third-best against the pass by only giving up 211.6 passing yards per game. Running back Lamar Miller has rushed for 469 yards with four touchdowns and he is averaging 4.9 yards per carry. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill has completed 62.3 percent of his passes for 1,619 yards with 11 touchdowns and six interceptions.
