The Philadelphia Eagles (5-1) and the Arizona Cardinals (5-1) will both be going for their third consecutive wins when they face each other on Sunday. The Eagles were able to beat the Cardinals 24-21 at home last season.

In their last game, the Eagles had one of their most complete performances when they shut out the New York Giants 27-0 at home. They had 203 rushing yards in that win and their defense held the Giants to just 254 total yards.

The Eagles have thrown for 262.3 yards per game this season and they are third in scoring with 30.5 points per game. Quarterback Nick Foles as completed 59.5 percent of his passes this season for 1,628 yards with 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin has caught 27 passes for 445 yards and four touchdowns.

The Cardinals were able to hold the Oakland Raiders to just 220 yards last Sunday, which helped them pull off a 24-13 road win. They were 9-for-15 on their third down chances in that game and they gained 365 yards against Oakland's defense.

Through six games, the Cardinals have the best defense against the run by holding opponents to just 72.5 rushing yards per game. Quarterback Carson Palmer has a 101.3 passer rating so far this season by throwing for 807 yards with six touchdowns and just one pick. Cornerback Jerraud Powers has 23 tackles, one forced fumble and a team-leading three interceptions for the Cardinals.
