The New York Jets (3-12) will be hoping to end their disappointing season on a high note on Sunday afternoon when they go up against the Miami Dolphins (8-7). Earlier this month, the Dolphins beat the Jets 16-13 in New Jersey.

The Jets played pretty well against the New England Patriots last Sunday, but they still ended up losing that game 17-16. They lost that game despite only allowing the Patriots to gain 231 total yards against them.

Through their first 15 games, the Jets are last in the league in passing with just 170.4 passing yards per game. Running back Chris Ivory has had a pretty good year by rushing for 792 yards and six touchdowns. Wide receiver Eric Decker has 64 receptions this season for 741 yards and four touchdowns.

On Sunday, the Dolphins ended their two-game losing streak by beating the Minnesota Vikings 37-35 at home. They had 493 total yards of offense in that win, including 377 yards through the air.

The Dolphins have been able to average 24.3 points per game this season while allowing their opponents to score 22.4 points per game against them. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill has a pretty good 93.4 passer rating on the season by throwing for 3,786 yards with 26 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Rookie wide receiver Jarvis Landry has caught a team-high 79 passes for 703 yards and five scores.
