The New York Jets (1-7) will go on the road on Sunday afternoon to take on the Kansas City Chiefs (4-3), who have won their last two games. The Jets are in last place in the AFC East and the Chiefs are in third place in the AFC West.

The Jets have now lost seven games in a row after being defeated by the Buffalo Bills 43-23 at home last Sunday. Turnovers killed them in that game as they threw four interceptions and lost two fumbles.

Through eight games, the Jets are only scoring 18 points per game while giving up 28.5 points per game to their opponents. Quarterback Geno Smith has not had a good season so far, completing just 56.2 percent of his passes with seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Running back Chris Ivory has 475 rushing yards with five touchdowns so far this season.

After going down 7-0 in their game against the St. Louis Rams on Sunday, the Chiefs scored 34 unanswered points to pull off a 34-7 home win. Their defense was excellent in that win, holding the Rams to just 200 total yards.

The Chiefs' defense has only given up 308.6 total yards per game this season, which is third-best in the NFL right now. Quarterback Alex Smith has a 93.1 passer rating so far this year by throwing for 1,496 yards with nine touchdowns and four interceptions. Tight end Travis Kelce leads the team in receiving by catching 28 passes for 352 yards and three touchdowns.
