The New York Jets (2-8) will attempt to start their first winning streak of the year when they go up against the Buffalo Bills (5-5) on Sunday afternoon. At the end of October, the Bills defeated the Jets 43-23 on the road.

In their last game, the Jets ended their eight-game losing skid by beating the Pittsburgh Steelers 20-13 at home. Their offense only had 275 total yards in that game, but their defense stepped up and forced four Pittsburgh turnovers.

Through their first 10 games, the Jets are near the bottom of the league in scoring with just 17.4 points per game. Their best offensive player has been running back Chris Ivory, who has rushed for 548 yards and five touchdowns so far this season. Wide receiver Eric Decker has caught a team-high 43 passes for 450 yards and four touchdowns.

Last Thursday, the Bills lost their second straight game when they were beaten 22-9 by the Miami Dolphins on the road. Buffalo only had 237 yards of offense in that loss, which included just 54 yards on the ground.

The Bills' defense gives up just 321.6 yards per game to opposing offenses, which ranks them sixth in the league. Since taking over at quarterback, veteran Kyle Orton has thrown for 1,580 yards with 10 touchdowns and just three interceptions. Rookie Sammy Watkins has made 45 receptions for 649 yards and a team-high five touchdowns.
