On Sunday afternoon, the New York Giants (3-5) will attempt to end their three-game losing streak when they visit the Seattle Seahawks (5-3). The Seahawks were able to shut out the Giants 23-0 on the road last season.

On Monday, the Giants only scored three points in the first half against the Indianapolis Colts and ended up losing 40-24 at home. They had just 89 rushing yards in that game and only converted four of their 16 third down opportunities.

The Giants have struggled on defense this season, giving up 391.8 yards per game and 26.1 points per game. Quarterback Eli Manning has a 94.9 passer rating on the year by throwing for 1,932 yards with 16 touchdowns and just five interceptions. Tight end Larry Donnell has caught 37 passes for 357 yards this year with a team-high five touchdowns.

The Seahawks were able to pick up their second straight win last Sunday by defeating the Oakland Raiders 30-24 at home. Their defense did well to hold the Raiders to just 226 total yards in that win.

Through eight games, the Seahawks are one of the best teams against the run by only giving up 83 rushing yards per game. Quarterback Russell Wilson has had a good season by throwing for 1,669 yards with 11 touchdowns, and he has also rushed for 393 yards and three more touchdowns. Wide receiver Doug Baldwin leads the team with 34 receptions and 409 receiving yards, but he has only scored once this season.
