On Sunday afternoon, the Minnesota Vikings (2-5) will try to snap their three-game losing skid when they go up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-5). The Vikings are in fourth place in the NFC North right now, while the Bucs are fourth in the NFC South.

Last Sunday, the Vikings gave up a late touchdown to the Buffalo Bills and lost 17-16 on the road. They had just 118 passing yards in that loss and they turned the ball over twice.

The Vikings have only gained 309.1 total yards per game and they are 30th in the league in scoring with just 17.1 points per game. Rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has completed 61.1 percent of his passes for 812 yards with one touchdown and five interceptions. Veteran wide receiver Greg Jennings has 26 catches for 345 yards and one score.

The Buccaneers gave up 28 first-quarter points to the Baltimore Ravens in their last game and were blown out 48-17. Their defense gave up 475 yards in that loss, including 169 on the ground.

Through six games, the Bucs have the worst defense in the league by giving up 34 points per game to opposing offenses. Quarterback Mike Glennon has an 86.2 rating on the season by throwing for 986 yards with seven touchdowns and three interceptions. Running back Bobby Rainey has averaged 4.9 yards per carry on the season, but he has just 262 rushing yards with one touchdown.
