The Miami Dolphins (6-4) will try to stay in playoff contention when they go up against the Denver Broncos (7-3) on Sunday. The Dolphins are currently in second place in the AFC East, while the Broncos are first in the AFC West.

Last Thursday, Dolphins outscored the Buffalo Bills 19-3 in the second half of their game to pull off a 22-9 home win. Their defense was excellent in that win by holding the Bills to just 237 total yards.

The Dolphins have had one of the better defenses in the NFL this season by only giving up 18 points per game. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill has been impressive this season, throwing for 2,354 yards with 17 touchdowns and just seven interceptions. Running back Lamar Miller has 614 yards with five touchdowns through 10 games.

The Broncos had their most disappointing game of the season last Sunday when they were beaten 22-7 by the St. Louis Rams. They turned the ball over twice in that loss and they were only able to rush for 28 yards.

Through their first 10 games, the Broncos are fifth in the NFL in scoring with 29.3 points per game. Future Hall of Famer Peyton Manning has 3,301 passing yards on the season with 30 touchdowns and just nine picks. Wide receiver Julius Thomas is third on the team in receiving yards with 40, but he leads the team in touchdowns with 12.
