The Jacksonville Jaguars and the Chicago Bears will both be looking to pick up their second wins of the preseason when they face each other on Thursday night.
The Jacksonville Jaguars took on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their first preseason game and ended up coming away with a 16-10 win. The Jags only has 264 yards of offense in the game, but they did force two turnovers without committing a turnover themselves.
Rookie Blake Bortles completed seven of his 11 pass attempts for the Jaguars and finished with 117 passing yards. Rookie wide receiver Marqise Lee will be hoping that he can catch his first pass as a pro against the Bears on Thursday after not being targeted against the Bucs.
The Chicago Bears were able to defeat the Philadelphia Eagles 34-28 in their preseason opener thanks to a solid passing attack and good defense late in the game. Their quarterbacks combined to go 29-for-44 with 399 yards and four touchdown passes. Their running game wasn't very solid, though, by gaining just 92 yards on 32 carries.
The most impressive quarterback in that game for the Bears was Jimmy Clausen, who completed seven of his 13 passes for 150 yards and two touchdowns. Veteran tight end Zach Miller had six catches for 68 yards in the game with two touchdowns. Cornerback Demontre Hurst led the Bears in tackles with eight.
