On Monday night, the Indianapolis Colts (5-3) will take their top-ranked passing attack on the road when they go up against the New York Giants (3-4). The Colts are first in the AFC South while the Giants are currently in third place in the NFC East.

The Colts gave up 28 second-quarter points to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday and ended up losing 51-34 to snap their five-game winning streak. They did have 448 offensive yards in that game, but their defense gave up 639 yards.

The Colts have the second-best scoring team in the league right now after averaging 31.2 points per game through their first eight games. Quarterback Andrew Luck has completed 64.8 percent of his passes for 2,731 yards, 22 touchdowns and nine interceptions. Running back Trent Richardson has rushed for 358 yards and two scores and he is averaging just 3.5 yards per carry.

Two weeks ago, the Giants lost their second straight game when they were beaten 31-21 on the road by the Dallas Cowboys. Their defense gave up 423 yards in that loss and they allowed the Cowboys to convert on nine of their 14 third down chances.

The Giants have given up 384.4 yards per game to opposing offenses and their opponents are scoring 24.1 points per game against them. Veteran quarterback Eli Manning has thrown for 1,573 yards with 14 touchdowns and five interceptions this season. Tight end Larry Donnell has caught 33 passes for 332 yards and a team-leading four touchdowns.
