Sunday afternoon, the Houston Texans will travel to the FirstEnergy Stadium to take on the Cleveland Browns.
The Houston Texans had their chances in their last game against the Philadelphia Eagles but the failed to capitalize on numerous opportunities and lost 31 - 21. The Texans defense harassed the Eagles at every turn and eventually knocked Eagles’ starting quarterback Nick Foles out of the game. The defense forced 4 turnovers but their efforts went for naught thanks to a horrid Texans offense. Texans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick went 13 for 27 with 203 yards, 2 touchdowns and an interception but he never found a way to get the offense in any rhythm. Even after the Eagles lost defensive standout DeMeco Ryans to an Achilles injury. If the Texans had a hard time against the Eagles, things won’t be any easier against the Browns.
The Cleveland Browns served notice in their last game against the Cincinnati Bengals that they are definitely a team to watch. In that game, it was all Browns as Cleveland won the Battle of Ohio by a score of 24 - 3. Everything was clicking on all cylinders for Cleveland as they got decent play from both the offense and the defense. Browns quarterback Brian Hoyer wasn’t spectacular but he consistently led his offense downfield and out points on the board. The Cleveland defense forced 3 interceptions and a fumble. Riding their best start in 20 years, the Browns will try to pick up their 4th straight victory and solidify their place at the top of the AFC North.
