The Green Bay Packers (1-1) will hope that their solid defense can stop the elite passing attack of the Detroit Lions (1-1) when they face them on Sunday afternoon. Green Bay won the early-season meeting last season, but the Lions blew them out later on in the year.

The Green Bay Packers outscored the New York Jets 15-3 in the second half of their game on Sunday to pull over a 31-24 comeback win at home. The Packers passed for 310 yards in the win while their defense held the Jets to just 166 passing yards. Green Bay's defense is sixth in the league against the pass by giving up just 178.5 passing yards per game.

Wide receiver Jordy Nelson has been fantastic for the Packers through two games, catching 18 passes for 292 yards and one touchdown. Star quarterback Aaron Rodgers as completed 64 percent of his passes so far this year for 535 yards with four touchdowns and one interception.

The Detroit Lions had three big turnovers in their matchup against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday and ended up losing 24-7 on the road. The Lions only rushed for 62 yards in the loss and were just 6-for-15 on third down opportunities. They are currently fourth in the NFL passing the ball with 297 yards per game.

Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford has already thrown for 637 yards this season with three touchdown passes and one interception. Star wide receiver Calvin Johnson has caught 13 passes through two games for 247 yards and two scores.
