The Detroit Lions (7-3) will be going on the road on Sunday afternoon to take on the New England Patriots (8-2), who have won their last six games. Both the Lions and the Patriots are currently atop their respective divisions.

The Lions couldn't get their offense going in their game against the Arizona Cardinals last Sunday and suffered a 14-6 loss. In that loss, they were only able to gain 262 total yards, including just 164 yards through the air.

Through 10 games, the Lions have the best defense in the NFL by only giving up 290.3 yards and 15.6 points per game. On the offensive side of the ball, quarterback Matthew Stafford has 2,679 passing yards with 13 touchdowns and nine interceptions. Wide receiver Golden Tate has caught 68 passes for 950 yards and three scores.

The Patriots had their way with the Indianapolis Colts this past Sunday, finishing that game with a dominant 42-20 road win. They had 501 yards of offense in that win, and rookie running back Jonas Gray had 199 yards and a franchise-record four touchdowns.

So far this season, the Patriots have had the second-highest scoring team in the league by averaging 32.3 points per game. Quarterback Tom Brady has completed 64 percent of his passes for 2,649 yards, 24 touchdowns and just five interceptions.
