On Sunday, the Detroit Lions (5-2) will be going for their second win a row when they take on the Atlanta Falcons (2-5) in London. The Lions are currently first in the NFC North while the Falcons sit in third place in the NFC South.

The Lions were able to score two late touchdowns against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday to pull off a 24-23 home win. They were outgained 408 to 344 in that game, but they were able to convert seven of their 15 third down chances.

The Lions have a good record despite only rushing for 82.4 yards per game so far this season. Through seven games, quarterback Matthew Stafford has thrown for 249.7 passing yards per game with nine touchdowns and six interceptions. Wide receiver Golden Tate has caught 48 passes for 649 yards and two scores.

Last Sunday, the Falcons lost their fourth game in a row when they were beaten 29-7 by the Baltimore Ravens on the road. They did force three turnovers in that game, but their offense was only able to gain a total of 254 yards.

The Falcons are currently 29th in the league against the pass, giving up 274.4 passing yards per game to their opponents. Quarterback Matt Ryan is currently second in the NFL in passing yards with 2,078 and he has thrown 13 touchdowns with seven interceptions. Ryan's top target has been wide receiver Julio Jones, who has 49 receptions for 676 yards and three touchdowns.
