In week 1 of the National Football League, the Dallas Cowboys had one of the worst performances of any team, dropping their game against the San Francisco 49ers 28-17. The Cowboys showed they had no defense and that their offense was going to find it difficult to put up points. In week 2, the team will travel to LP Field to take on the Tennessee Titans, who picked up the 26-10 win against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Dallas played an all-around bad game against the 49ers and will look to change their entire game plan around when they take on the Titans. Tony Romo threw for 281 yards and a touchdown, but also threw 3 interceptions and was sacked 3 times. Even though the team was trailing for most of their game, they were still able to get their rushing game going behind DeMarco Murray, who ran for 118 yards and 1 touchdown on 22 carries. In the receiving game, Dez Bryant was absent throughout, making just 4 catches for 55 yards. Terrance Williams added 4 catches for 50 yards and a touchdown.

During their upset victory against the Chiefs in their opening game, the Titans were led by Jake Locker, who threw for 266 yards and 2 touchdowns. Locker finally began to look like the player the Titans were hoping to get when they drafted him with the 8th overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft. He finished with a QB rating of 111.4 and will look to continue his success against the Cowboys. In the running game, Shonn Greene ran for 71 yards on 15 carries and collectively, the team ran for 162 yards on 38 carries. Kendall Wright had 6 catches for 46 yards, Nate Washington had 4 catches for 59 yards, and Justin Hunter added 3 catches for 63 yards.
