The Cleveland Browns (5-3) and the Cincinnati Bengals (5-2-1) will both be going for their third consecutive wins when they face each other on Thursday night. Last season, the Browns and the Bengals split their regular season series.

Last Sunday, the Browns played a solid defensive game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and won 22-17 at home. They gave up 365 total yards in that win and they were able to intercept two passes.

Through eight games, the Browns have the eight-best defense in the league by giving up just 21.1 points per game. Quarterback Brian Hoyer has thrown for 2,104 yards this season with 10 touchdowns and four interceptions. Wide receiver Miles Austin has caught 26 passes for 339 yards and two touchdowns.

The Bengals weren't at their best on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but they were still able to pull off a 33-23 home win. They rushed for 191 yards in that win and they were able to convert 6-for-13 on their third down chances.

The Bengals have rushed for 121.4 yards per game this season and they are scoring 24.2 points per game. Their best offensive player has been wide receiver Mohamed Sanu, who has caught 39 passes for 628 yards and four touchdowns. Quarterback Andy Dalton has an 88.3 passer rating and has thrown for 1,874 yards with eight touchdown passes.
