The Chicago Bears (2-2) will be hoping that they can keep pace with the rest of the NFC North when they go up against the Carolina Panthers (2-2) on Sunday afternoon.

The Bears were outscored 17-0 in the second half of their game against the Green Bay Packers last weekend and lost 38-17. Chicago did put up 496 yards of offense in that loss, but they turned the ball over twice without forcing any turnovers.

Chicago's defense is in the bottom half of the league by giving up 372.8 yards per game. Rookie cornerback Kyle Fuller has 16 tackles through his team's first four games and he is tied for the lead in interceptions with three. Veteran tight end Martellus Bennett has caught 29 passes this season for 295 yards and four touchdowns.

On Sunday, the Panthers lost their second game in a row when they were defeated 38-10 by the Baltimore Ravens on the road. Carolina only had 67 rushing yards in that game and they were unable to force any turnovers.

The Panthers have given up 233 passing yards per game, which is 12th in the league. Rookie wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin leads the Panthers with 21 receptions and he has 329 receiving yards with three touchdowns. Defensive end Mario Addison has just five tackles through four games for Carolina, but he is tied for third in the NFL with 3.5 sacks.
