The struggling Carolina Panthers (3-5) will be going on the road on Monday night to take on the Philadelphia Eagles (6-2). The Panthers are currently second in the NFC South while the Eagles sit atop the NFC East.

The Panthers lost their third consecutive game last Thursday when they were defeated 28-10 by the New Orleans Saints at home. They were only able to gain 231 total yards in that game, including just 122 yards through the air.

Carolina has struggled to run the ball this season, gaining just 94.7 rushing yards per game through eight games. Their best offensive player has been tight end Greg Olsen, who has caught 45 passes for 539 yards and five touchdowns. Quarterback Cam Newton has only been able to complete 57.4 percent of his passes for 1,794 yards with eight touchdowns and five interceptions.

Last Sunday, the Eagles moved the ball with ease against the Houston Texans and came away with a 31-21 win on the road. They did have four turnovers in that game, but they also gained 483 total yards against Houston's defense.

The Eagles have the fourth-best scoring team in the NFL right now by averaging 29.2 points per game. Running back LeSean McCoy has 622 rushing yards on the season, but he is only averaging 3.9 yards per carry. Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin has caught 45 passes through eight games for 790 yards and a team-high eight touchdowns.
