The Carolina Panthers (2-1) will try to get back on the winning track when they take on the Baltimore Ravens (2-1) on Sunday afternoon.

The Panthers were only able to score three points in the first half of their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers last weekend and ended up losing 37-19. Carolina only rushed for 42 yards in that loss and they turned the ball over twice. The Panthers' defense is currently 26th in the league against the rush by giving up 145.3 yards per game.

Panthers quarterback Cam Newton has completed 66.7 percent of his passes this year for 531 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. Rookie receiver Kelvin Benjamin has caught 16 passes this season for 253 yards and two scores, while tight end Greg Olsen has caught 19 passes for 224 yards and two touchdowns.

On Sunday, the Ravens picked up their second consecutive win by beating the Cleveland Browns 23-21 on the road. Baltimore held the Browns to just 91 rushing yards in that game and rushed for 160 yards themselves. The Ravens are currently eighth in the league in rushing with 137 yards per game.

Veteran wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. has caught 18 passes in three games for the Ravens for 290 yards and one touchdown. Quarterback Joe Flacco has averaged 237.3 passing yards per game and he has four touchdown passes with two interceptions.
