On Sunday afternoon, the solid rushing attack of the Buffalo Bills (2-2) will take on the Detroit Lions (3-1), who have one of the best rushing defenses in the league.

On Sunday, the Bills played in a tightly-contested game against the Houston Texans and ended up losing by the score of 23-17. Buffalo had just 220 passing yards in the loss, but they did force three turnovers.

The Bills are near the bottom of the league in passing yards and they are scoring just 19.8 points per game. Running backs C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson are both averaging over four yards per carry this season, but neither has scored a rushing touchdown yet. Rookie inside linebacker Preston Brown has been a surprising contributor this season, leading the team in tackles with 40.

The Lions outscored the New York Jets 17-3 in the first half of their game on Sunday and ended up with a 24-17 win. Detroit's defense held the Jets to only 204 passing yards and their offense didn't turn the ball over in the win.

The Lions have passed for 276 yards per game through four games, which is seventh in the NFL. Quarterback Matthew Stafford is third in the NFL in passing yards right now with 1,176, and he has thrown five touchdown passes with three interceptions. Wide receiver Calvin Johnson has 21 catches through four games with 341 yards and two touchdowns.
