On Sunday afternoon, the Atlanta Falcons (2-6) will attempt to snap their five-game losing streak when they go up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-7). The Falcons are third and fourth in the NFC South, respectively.

In their last game, the Falcons gave up a 21-point lead against the Detroit Lions and ended up losing 22-21 at home. They only had 291 total yards in that game, which included just 78 yards on the ground.

The Falcons have one of the worst defenses in the league this season, giving up 27.6 points per game. Quarterback Matt Ryan has a 93.1 passer rating on the season by throwing for 2,306 yards with 15 touchdowns and eight interceptions. Star wide receiver Julio Jones has made 53 receptions for 734 yards and three scores.

The Buccaneers lost their fourth game in a row last Sunday when they were beaten 22-17 by the Cleveland Browns on the road. They threw two interceptions in that loss and they only converted four out of their 12 third down chances.

The Bucs have given up 399.9 yards per game this season and they are dead last in points against by giving up 30.6 points per game. Quarterback Mike Glennon has thrown for 1,417 yards this season with 10 touchdown passes and six interceptions. Rookie wide receiver Mike Evans has caught 32 passes this year for a team-high 460 yards and four touchdowns.
