The Atlanta Falcons (2-2) will look to stay atop the NFC South on Sunday afternoon when they take on the New York Giants (2-2), who have won two consecutive games.

The Falcons were outscored 10-0 I the fourth quarter by the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday and lost 41-28. Their defense gave up 558 yards in that loss, which included 241 yards on the ground alone.

Atlanta's defense has given up 396 yards per game, which is third-worst in the NFL right now. Veteran quarterback Matt Ryan has thrown 10 touchdowns with five interceptions and he is currently second in the NFL in passing yards with 1,263. Star wide receiver Julio Jones has 29 receptions this season with three touchdowns and he is second in the league with 447 receiving yards.

The Giants won their second game in a row last Thursday when they defeated the Washington Redskins 45-14 on the road. The Giants put up 449 total yards in that win and their defense was able to force six turnovers.

New York's defense is 10th against the rush this season by giving up just 101.3 yards per game. Running back Rashad Jennings has averaged 4.2 yards per carry this year and he has 341 rushing yards with two touchdowns. Second-year tight end Larry Donnell has caught 25 passes through four games for 236 yards and four scores.
