The UNLV Rebels will visit Phog Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence Kansas to take on the Jayhawks. The Rebels are coming into the game with a 9-4 record including an 0-1 record in Mountain West Conference play. UNLV is coming off a five point road loss at Wyoming. The Jayhawks as a team are scoring 70.8 points per game and also rebounding 38.7 per game. Kansas starts Big 12 play on January 7th at Baylor.

For the Rebels of UNLV, they have losses to Stanford, Arizona State, Utah and Wyoming. Their biggest win was over the Arizona Wildcats, which was their lone loss of the season. UNLV is led in scoring by Rashad Vaughn with 17.9 per game. In the most recent game, a four point loss at Wyoming, Christian Wood led the way with 29 points while Jelan Kendrick ripped down 7 rebounds. The Rebels will get back to Mountain West Conference play on January 7th when they host Nevada.
