The Connecticut Huskies will be going on the road on Saturday to take on the Florida Gators in a game that will feature two solid defenses. The Gators will be looking to get revenge after losing 63-53 to the Huskies in the Final Four last year.

Connecticut had their two-game winning streak snapped on Wednesday night when Temple defeated them 57-53 in overtime. The Huskies made just 38.6 percent of their shot attempts in that loss and ended up turning the ball over 16 times.

So far this season, the Huskies are near the bottom of the country in steals with just 5.5 per game. Freshman forward Daniel Hamilton has had a good first year in college by averaging 11.1 points and a team-high 6.6 rebounds per game. Senior guard Ryan Boatright currently leads the team in scoring with 17.6 points per game.

On Tuesday, Florida had their four-game winning streak come to an end when in-state rival Florida State beat them 65-63. The Seminoles had a hard time making their shots in that game and they finished with 15 team turnovers.

The Gators have been able to average 8.3 team steals per game this season and are only giving up 56.3 points per game. Junior forward Dorian Finney-Smith is averaging 12.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per game this season while making 50 percent of his shots.
