Two teams looking to win their second straight conference game will get together on Saturday at Mackey Arena. The Michigan Wolverines will take on the Purdue Boilermakers. Michigan comes into the game fresh off a win over Illinois, and are 8-5 overall. The Purdue Boilermakers picked up a win over Minnesota on December 31st, and have a 9-5 overall record. Purdue's win snapped their three game losing streak.

Purdue lost early season games to Kansas State and Northern Florida. Then, after winning two straight, the Boilermakers dropped decisions to Vanderbilt, Notre Dame and Gardner Webb. The Boilermakers are scoring 75.9 points per game. The top scorer for Purdue has been Kendall Stephens, with 11.2 per game. Purdue is shooting nearly 47% from the field, and also dishing out 16.6 assists per game, which ranks 20th in the nation.

For Michigan, they have had some tough losses on the season. After losing to Villanova back in late November, the Wolverines beat Syracuse, and then went on a major tailspin. Michigan fell to New Jersey Institute of Technology and Eastern Michigan in back-to-back affairs. Losses to Arizona and SMU put the Wolverines at 6-5, before wins over Coppin State and Illinois. The Wolverines are led in scoring by Caris LeVert and his 15.2 points and 5.2 rebounds per game.
