The Creighton Bluejays will try to snap their two-game losing skid on Saturday when they go up against the #25 Georgetown Hoyas. The Bluejays and the Hoyas each picked up one win from their two-game series against each other last season.

Creighton has now lost three of their last four games after Providence beat them 65-53 on the road on Wednesday night. The Bluejays couldn't hit their three-pointers in that loss, finishing just 6-for-24 from long range.

Through their first 14 games, the Bluejays are only blocking 2.1 shots per game and only averaging 4.7 steals per game. Senior guard Austin Chatman leads the team on scoring right now with 13.7 points per game, while sophomore guard Isaiah Zierden has made 42.7 percent of his three-pointers and is averaging 11.6 points per game.

On Wednesday night, Georgetown had their three-game winning streak snapped when Xavier beat them 70-53 on the road. They had 16 turnovers in that loss and ended up with a very low 36.2 field goal percentage.

The Hoyas have shot the ball well as a team this season, making 47.2 percent of their shots as a team. One of their better players this season has been junior guard D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera, who is currently averaging 15 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game. Their top rebounder is Joshua Smith, who is averaging 6.3 boards per game.
