In a big rivalry game out west, the Arizona State Sun Devils will take on the Arizona Wildcats on Sunday. The Sun Devils and Wildcats are both playing in their Pac-12 opener. Arizona State comes into the affair with an 8-5 record. The Sun Devils have lost both of their road games this season. For Arizona, they are ranked 8th in the country, and hold a 12-1 record. The Wildcats are a perfect 8-0 at home.

Arizona’s lone loss came on December 23rd at the UNLV Rebels. The Wildcats have wins over San Diego State and Gonzaga on the season. The Arizona State Sun Devils have won two straight games; over Detroit and Harvard. Before that, Arizona State lost back-to-back games at Marquette and at home to LeHigh. The other three losses for the Sun Devils came to Maryland, Alabama and Texas A+M. Savon Goodman is scoring 15.8 points and grabbing 8 rebounds per game; both team leading. The Sun Devils biggest win came on December 3rd over the UNLV Rebels.
