The #11 Wichita State Shockers will be going for their third win in a row on Saturday afternoon when they visit the Detroit Titans. The Shocks lost their only road game this season, while the Titans are currently 4-1 at home.

Wichita State moved to 6-1 on the season when they were able to beat Seton Hall 77-68 at home on Tuesday night. They made six of their 13 three-point attempts in that win and ended up shooting 52.7 percent overall.

Wichita State's offense has been able to average 78.3 points per game this year, and their defense has only given up 58.7 points per game. Their go-to player through seven games has been junior guard Ron Baker, who is now averaging 18.4 points per game while hitting nearly 54 percent of his three-pointers.

Last Saturday, Detroit were able to win their second consecutive game by defeating South Florida 67-57 at home. They shot very well from beyond the arc in that win, making 10 of their 21 three-pointers.

Through nine games, the Titans are in the top 25 in steals with 9.4 thefts per game. Their best player is senior forward Juwan Howard Jr., who is currently averaging a team-high 18.7 points per game while pulling down 4.6 rebounds per game. Freshman guard Paris Bass is scoring 12.3 points per game this year and leads the team in rebounding with 5.9 per game.
