The VCU Rams will be going for their third straight win on Saturday afternoon when they visit the Cincinnati Bearcats. VCU has won one of their two road games this season, while the Bearcats are 6-0 at home.

On Tuesday night, VCU picked up their second win in a row when they easily defeated Belmont 78-51 on their home floor. Their defense forced 17 turnovers in that win and was able to hold Belmont to a 37 field goal percentage.

Through 10 games this year, the Rams have been able to score 76.9 points per game, but they are also giving up 70 points per game. Their go-to player has been senior forward Treveon Graham, who is currently averaging 17.1 points and 6.3 rebounds per game.

Cincinnati had their first big win of the year on Wednesday night when they beat San Diego State 71-62 in overtime. They shot 47.2 percent from the field in that win and ended up forcing San Diego State into committing 18 turnovers.

Cincinnati's defense has been one of the best in the nation so far this season, allowing just 53.8 points per game. Junior forward Octavius Ellis has led the way by averaging 10.1 points and a team-best 7.8 rebounds per game, while sophomore guard Troy Caupain has been able to score a team-high 10.1 points per game through nine games.
