The #13 Utah Utes will be going for their fifth straight win on Wednesday night when they go up against the BYU Cougars. Utah was able to beat the Cougars 81-64 at home last season.

Utah picked up their first big win of the season last week when they beat #8 Wichita State 69-68 in overtime. They took care of the ball well in that win, ending up with just six team turnovers.

Through seven games, the Utes have had one of the best shooting teams in the nation by making over 52 percent of their shots. Senior guard Delon Wright has scored a team-high 15 points per game while dishing out 5.1 assists per game this season. Freshman forward Jakob Poeltl has also had a good start to the year by averaging 12 points and nearly 10 rebounds per game.

Last Saturday, BYU picked up their third straight win when they easily defeated Hawaii 90-70. The Cougars did have 19 turnovers in that game, but they were also able to make 48.3 percent of their shots.

The Cougars currently have the number one scoring team in the country by averaging over 94 points per game against their opponents. Senior guard Tyler Haws has had a great start to the season by averaging over 24 points per game while making over 51 percent of his shots.
