UCLA visits Washington on Thursday in a big Pac-12 game with tournament implications. The Bruins sit at 22-7 overall and are looking to improve their potential seed in the Big Dance. They're coming off a tough win against Oregon State in which they pulled out a 74-69 victory. Jordan Adams scored 24 points, including 20 in the 2nd half as the Bruins pulled away late. UCLA also got a nice game from Kyle Anderson as he had 14 points, nine rebounds and five assists for the Bruins (22-7, 11-5 Pac-12). Both players were playing after being suspended from the previous game for an undisclosed violation of team rules. The foul line proved to be a huge asset to UCLA, as they were 21 of 23 and Oregon State was 14 of 23.
Washington is coming off of a 72-49 thumping of their in-state rival Washington State. Andrew Andrews led the way for the Huskies with 16 points and 9 rebounds. Nigel Williams-Goss also threw in 17 points and 11 rebounds for Washington in a well balanced effort. Washington State shot only 31 percent for the game and had only 1 player in double figures. Although it looks like the Huskies are headed to the NIT barring a Pac-12 tournament run, a win against the Bruins would feel really good.
UCLA is 17-10 this year against the spread, including 4-4 on the road. They also are 4-5 straight up on the road this year. Washington currently sits at 14-14 ATS including 7-10 at home. They are an impressive 13-5 straight up at home, however, so don't count the Huskies out of this one.
