On Monday night, the Tulane Green Wave will have one of their toughest matchups of the season when they take on the #16 Washington Huskies. Last season, the Huskies were able to defeat the Green Wave 73-62 on the road.

Tulane won their ninth game in a row on Friday night when they defeated Jackson State 56-49 at home. They did have a good shooting night in that one, but their defense was able to hold Jackson State to a low 31.6 field goal percentage.

Through 10 games, the Green Wave have one of the better field goal percentages in the country by making 48.4 percent of their shots. Junior guard Louis Dabney has been one of their better players this year by averaging 13.1 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game. Senior guard Jay Hook has scored 12.1 points per game this season while grabbing a team-high five rebounds per game.

On Saturday night, Washington won their second game against a ranked team when they edged the Oklahoma Sooners 69-67. They shot the ball very well in that game, making 49 percent of their shots as a team.

Through their first 10 games this season, the Huskies are one of the top rebounding teams in the nation by grabbing over 40 boards per game. Their best player has been sophomore guard Nigel Williams-Goss, who is currently averaging 13.9 points and 5.7 rebounds per game.
